Abstract

The purpose of this work is the choice of the most prospective areas of Taloveis gold ore field's structure (Kostomuksha region, North-West Karelia). The work consisted in redesign of conditions of tectonic loading of ore field and their comparison with tectonic-physical conditions of development of endogenous ore genesis situations. The data about orientation of 1282 vectors of shear shifts on the rock fissure surfaces were collected in the field period. Redesign of regional conditions of paleotectonic loading of ore field was carried out on the basis of structural and kinematic analysis. There was made a conclusion about formation of these conditions on four continuously changing phases of development of united cycle of tectonic deformation. Numerical values of characteristics of regional rank mechanisms were used as the boundary conditions for definition of phase correspondence of local mechanisms of deformation process (reconstructed in the uniform space network units). Correspondence of numerical values of characteristics of local mechanisms of process to the conditions of tectonic loading of endogenous ore genesis situations became the criterion for the choice of the most prospective areas of the gold ore field structure. Practical conclusions, which were made according to results of tectonic and physical redesigns, conform with results of geochemical survey and prospecting drilling.
