Abstract

In connection with necessity of increasing of safety of Usoi steep slope (natural dam on Murghab river), this article shows the discussion about the ways of construction of Sarez hydroelectric power plant and conditions of construction of routes of high-tension air transmission lines from the hydroelectric power plant to expected consumers. During the researches, which were carried out in 1970-s, there were studied the conditions of construction of routes of transmission lines in different directions. For the stated period of time, the facilities of transmission lines and the hydroelectric power plant are found inexpedient by the Institute «Energosetproekt» (Tashkent), taking into account the geological and geophysical conditions. Nowadays, the cost of electric energy increased significantly. At the same time, there was formed the market of water and energy in Central Asia. The requirements, lodged to the safety of natural dams, were increased. All the foregoing led to the revival of idea of hydroelectric power plant construction and output of energy to expected consumers. Possible investments in the development of Eastern Pamir deposits can be considered as an additional incentive, which defines the prospective directions of electric energy transmission.
