Реферат

This article describes the deep mines drainage technology, based on the drilling of upward drain holes from underground mine workings. This technology, developed in «VIOGEM» JSC, is widely applied during the open-cast, combined open-cast-underground and underground mining of deep-seated ore deposits in Russia and other countries. Offered method of drainage is characterized by the range of advantages and makes it possible to simplify the drain systems cardinally, particularly by the following measures:
-carrying out of drain operation on one level;
-refusion of application of well sinking pumps, which will increase the reliability of drain system;
-decreasing of level of electric energy consumption;
-limiting of application of dewatering and shallow wells;
-increasing of technical and economic efficiency of drain measures;
-exclusion of passing of contaminations into water-bearing horizons and initial drain waters.
Positive results of industrial testing and cumulated experience became the basis for the following measures: wide spreading of drainage systems by upward drain holes instead of drilling; equipping of dewatering deep wells with complex construction, as well as their long-term, constant and complex exploitation.
