Abstract

HR policy at Sokolov-Sarbai Mining Production Association (SSGPO) in the field of advanced training and retraining of workers, managers and specialists is described. The work on forming the personnel reserve starts from secondary schools. The association helps the pupils to choose profession, showing advantages of employment in SSGPO facilities. Managers from the department of youth policy at the enterprise organize regular thematic meetings of pupils with professional specialists and work tours. Professional training of miners, dressers and railroad men in Rudnyi is realizing by city colleges, Rudnyi industrial institute and (at SSGPO) by Personnel training center. SSGPO leadership lends comprehensive aid and assistance in creation and improvement of teaching and material resources. Advanced training of workers, managers and specialists is conducted in correspondence with the approved plan of education. More than 400 managers and specialists have completed advanced training in 2013 in the training centers of Kazakhstan and other countries near and far abroad. The project MBA "Executive manager" has been realized in the Association for advanced training of engineers, and 38 specialists have completed this education. SSGPO Personnel training center provides education and advanced training for more than 230 working professions. The lisy of these professions is determined according to requirements of departments. In average, up to 5,500 people have completed their professional eduction in this center every year, while education is organized mainly "on-job". As a result of permanent work to form the personnel reserve, staffing position in the Association in general makes about 99 %, providing all departments with human resources.
