Реферат

SGL company is a supplier of high-quality electrodes for iron and steel industry and the systems for distant monitoring. The paper is devoted to description of SGL Pro Arc — the new supplement for simulation and optimization of technological processes in electric arc furnaces (EAF). The system operating principles, statistical and dynamical analysis as well as modules and functional possibilities for “strict” and “soft” melting conditions are observed. The system has been successfully applied at numerous EAFs globally. Once SGL Pro Arc has been configured for an EAF, the Operating Point Diagram can be updated rapidly with measurements as a check against previous assessments. Facilities having the SGL Cedis system installed can accomplish updates remotely. Updates of the operating point diagram can be used to verify that regulation changes are working as expected. The capability of the service has resulted in significant improvements in electric energy efficiency and even reductions in the rate of electrode breakage on EAFs that were already highly productive. SGL Pro Arc removes the subjectiveness and guesswork from EAF optimization enabling more optimal performance in less time.
