Реферат

Incremental production and processing of minerals is accompanied by growing accumulation of waste containing mineral components. Overburden dumps, tailings ponds and metallurgical rejects are currently considered secondary mineral resources to be utilized. This article gives a brief analysis of the current state and trends in utilization of secondary mineral resources. The goal is to substantiate economic efficiency of management of secondary mineral resources with regard to mineral production dynamics, quality degradation and change in cost of waste recovery. The authors present the developed economic and mathematical model capable to optimize dynamics of secondary mineral resource utilization by variants of management. The model involves the optimality criterion that maximizes surplus accumulation during the period of secondary mineral resource management with regard to prices and ranges of use of produced useful components, precluded diseconomies of environment pollution, worsening of useful qualities of mineral resources, haulage cost escalation as well as growing investments in mineral mining and processing. The constraints in the set problem solution can be the limit value of maximum output set on the strength of a processing plant capabilities and transportation capacities. Furthermore, the model set constraints on financial backing of variants of the secondary mineral resource utilization.
