Реферат
Nano-microcrystallic structure is forming on the depth up to 50 μm as a result of impulse-plasma treatment in the surface layers of cast iron rolls. Wear resistance of such rolls increases by 30–100 times and friction ratio decreases down to 0.1–0.3. Friction ratio values for cast iron rolls not treated by impulse plasma are variated in the range 0.5–0.6. Investigations have been conducted in the conditions of dry friction for cylindric samples made from ZrO2 and SiC.
