Until present time, conventional approaches have been used in the problems of forming shape and planeness of thin sheet steel; these approaches were based on the effect on such parameters using accumulated experience of technologists. Such situation contradicted to the statements of ISO standards (9000 series) and TQM concept, required through integrated quality management and documentation for all processes. The measures undertaken at Magnitogorsk Integrated Metallurgical Works together with Magnitogorsk State Technical University allowed to systematize forming process of shape and planeness at the main sheet rolling mills and to obtain complex technical and technological effect.
