Реферат	Increase of productivity of thickening department has been achieved owing to modernization of ring thickening chambers in order to decrease pulp density in feed of thickeners. However, putting into practice the automatic control system for thickening process is considered as the most prospective direction for the nearest future; development and industrial testings in this field are conducting actively during recent years.
