Abstract

The report discusses methods for evaluating stability of technological processes for production of pipes. It is shown that the usual statistical methods of assessment quality of technology do not provide the required level of confidence for selective methods of control. Finished products contain concealed information about meeting technological requirements and causes of occurrence of fluctuations from the preset level; it can be extracted using the methods of nondestructive testing of finished products and forming the data base with full information about manufacturing technology. It is proposed to use the smoothed periodograms method for randomly selected tubes from the party. The results of statistic and harmonic analysis are used for quality management in realization of technological processes of tube production for nuclear power engineering. Applying the complex approach combining creation of new technologies and methodology of control allowed to develop production of stainless tubes with high-preciseinternal diameter and surface quality. Developed criteria for quantify assessment the similarity of different periodograms which can be used as a measure of stability technology.
