Modern open pits have a reach arsenal of assets, which allow not only to minimize the damage to the Earth`s surface, but also to receive the considerable profit. This profit is received due to the construction of the water recreation zones on the basis of the residual borrow cuts, as well as the creating of the precious and aesthetic relief forms from the overburdens. These precious and aesthetic relief forms have the various purposes of use. Due to the use of the emulsion explosives on the firing, the situation with the powder-gas emissions took a turn for the better cardinally. While using these explosives, the content of the carbon and nitrogen monoxides in the explosion products decreases almost tenfold, in comparison with the standard trotyl high explosives. Strip-pit enterprises have a big experience of creating and exploitation of the treatment facilities for the discharged and storm waters, as well as for the plant effluents. Drying of the open pit area results the water debalance on the area near the open pit. This debalance is prevented by the construction of the continuous antifiltering screen around the open pit`s boundary.
