Abstract

The anthropogenic fissures were investigated in single layers of Starobin potassium salts` deposits. However, the impact degree of the potassium beds reundermining on the stress-strain state of rock strata is very important both in terms of stability of mine workings and development of anthropogenic fissures around the workings.
The mine of the “Belaruskali” JSC Mining Department was the plase, where was held the complex of scientific research studies of the geomechanical processes in the rock strata as a result of its reundermining. It was found that the high-attitude water-conducting channels are located above the boundaries of the lava goaf. Due to the undermining, there was held the evaluation of the stress and strain of rock strata and headings. In the conditions of Starobin deposit, the power of the rock strata between the developed horizons exceeds the total value of the height distribution of water bearing fissure zones and protective cieling (35 meters). 6 years later and more it were observed a slight deformations, using the reundermining with potassium lava. This operation was held after the initial rock strata undermining, using the lava from the Second potassium horizon. Third potassium horizon has a removable capacity by 1,2 meters.
