Abstract

Rock pressure in the salt massifs became apparent as an intensive creep of near-boundary rocks. This creep causes an increased pressure on the timber. Rocks have a progressive flotation with a presence of clayey or rock processes. The mine maintenance problems were solved both on the stage of underground mine projecting, and during the process of its exploitation.
Due to the analysis of results of monitoring observations in the different conditions with using the ANSYS programm package, there was held an evaluation of the influence of the range of factors on the effort dynamics in the concrete support of the couplings on “Internatsionalnyy” mine and mine of the Second Bereznikovsky potassium mining department.
Concrete support decreases the vertical excavation convergence to 2 times. Horizontal excavation convergence decreases to 1,5 times. However, once the long period expires, the durability of a concrete support would have problems. According to this, there were held the survey of the safety device and prolongation of an exploitation term of a concrete support, particularly, by the setting of a dump (pliable) layer of a define thickness between the concrete and salt massif.
The developed non-traditional approaches of the fastening and support of excavations in salt rocks with organization of a dump layer are used in the workover of a mine support on the mine of Second Bereznikovsky mining department and in the projects of the construction of a mine shaft of new underground mines on Verkhnekamsk potassium salts deposit.
