Реферат

Currently, three fourth of Russian mineral objects, which are the most prospective for development, are situated to the east of Ural. But regions of European part of a country also have the significant reserves of mineral raw materials, which are available for the many years open-cast mining. Development potential of open-cast mining was followed by federal districts of Russian Federation.

Open cast mining in the Southern district will be in progress during the extraction of natural construction materials, as well as on the unique saltmines in Lake Baskunchak. The salt reserves on this lake are capable of self-reducing.

Mineral resources of North-Caucasus District are in the initial development phase. Open-cast mining of numerous deposits of construction raw materials are considered here as the most effective instrument of the accelerated development of productive forces in this region and radical improvement of its social and economic environment.

Underground mining in Volga District changed the open cast mining on two large copper-ore deposits – Uchalin and Sibay. Another mineral objects on the territory of the district are getting involved into development. Many open pits, specialized on the extraction of construction raw materials, are supplied with the practically inexhaustible reserves.
