Abstract

This article presents the creation project of the industrial complex of extraction and processing of apatite and shtaffelite ores with the production of apatite and shtaffelite and iron ore concentrates, within the strategy realization of the supplement of chemical plants of Mineral and Chemical Company “EuroChem” with its own phosphate raw materials. The actuality of this problem solving is caused by the compensation necessity of the technogenic sands extraction capacities, retired in 2013–2014, because of the reserves depletion, as well as of the increasing of the total production volume of apatite concentrate to 3 mln. t/year.

In the connection with rather limited times of the project realization, there was decided to unite the apatite complex and apatite and shtaffelite complex after the flotation into the common production flow, and, on that stage, to hold their thickening, filtration, drying and loading on the operating capacities of apatite and baddeleyte factory. Meanwhile, the project maximally applies the facilities and equipment of the technological line of the technogenic sands processing.
