METAL - the first-class expo (14 to 16 October 2020) (12+)

The autumn International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL is held at Targi Kielce from 14 to 16 October 2020. For years this innovations-packed event has been the industry’s favourite experiences exchange platform. 


The coronavirus pandemic has abruptly impeded the global economies’ development.  First and foremost, the epidemic situation has significantly impacted traditional ways of doing business in most companies and institutions, including trade fair and exhibition organisers.  Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki held the press conference on 27 May and announced that, starting 6 June trade shows and congresses can be held in Poland again.  Organisers and exhibitors as well as expo visitors were longing for this favourable decision. 


Not only do they find expos an ideal opportunity to convene, but first and foremost to learn about the industry’s latest developments and innovations.

 

METAL - all industry insiders consider the expo a part of the industry’s tradition.  This year's event abounds with the latest technologies, machines and equipment designed for everyday use in foundries and casting houses.  The largest international players, those who have long been active in this field of economy and industry convene and talk shop in the exhibition centre;  every year Kielce welcomes companies from Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Slovenia, Great Britain, Spain, Turkey and China. The event has become a real bridge which brings east and west closer.

 

For years the METAL - the International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL has generated a great interest as the presentation stage for the latest technological solutions. This popularity has been demonstrated by METAL continuous development. 

 

The trade show is a knowledge-packed event. Thus each consecutive expo agenda includes conferences galore - discussion panels, seminars, matchmaking and networking meetings come in abundance. 

 

The year 2018 goes down in history as the red-letter event, because Kielce exhibition and congress centre  hosted nearly 300 exhibitors from 28 countries  and the event used almost 10,000 square meters of the exhibition space.  2018's "Industrial Autumn” was a record-breaking event as it attracted almost 4 000 business insiders - representatives of various industries:  foundry and casting, machine and electromechanical, rail, shipbuilding, armaments, robotics and automation, automotive and aviation industry. They all came to Targi Kielce from the most distant corners of the world, including  Austria, Belgium, Estonia, France, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, Ukraine, Hungary, Belarus, Slovakia, Spain, Great Britain, the United States, Slovenia, Russia, Turkey, India, China and Japan.  The several thousand experts from around the world were participants of the 73rd World Foundry Congress who also joined the Kielce trade shows. For years, Targi Kielce has enjoyed the support of important, foreign foundry organizations.  The event organisers have closely cooperated with:  the Italian Foundry Suppliers' Association AMAFOND, the Belarusian Association of Foundrymen and Metallurgists, the China Foundry Association (CFA) and the Polish STOP - Technical Association of Polish Foundrymen.

The International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL is complemented and enhanced with the HEAT TREATMENT Metals Processing Expo, which has already proven to be the real smash-hit. The previous expo demonstrated to be extremely popular with metal heat treatment sector’s companies.  Exhibitors and visitors appreciated the event’s B2B character. HEAT TREATMENT made its début in 2018. 

 

Cutting-edge machines and devices used in the non-ferrous metal industry complemented with raw materials, components and materials used for metallurgical processes are presented at the  16th International Fair of Aluminium & Technology, Materials and Non-Ferrous Metal Products ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET.

 

Effective metals recycling objective is to minimize new products cost thus recycling plays a significant role for all enterprises’ cost savings. The innovative processing methods are presented to the expo guests at the RECYCLING - the expo scope includes non-ferrous metals processing and among them copper, zinc, lead as well as light and precious metals.
