Gold: the origin of mining, metallurgy and technology

On the basis of the analysis of more than 350 sources of historical and technical literature, there is collected the information, which defines the history of the origin and evolution of mining, metallurgy and gold prosessing technology in the Ancient world. Also, there are given the modern theories, which explain the achievements of the ancient metallurgists and technologists.
