This issue includes the articles, which describe the subject-matter on heavy, light, rare and radioactive metals. This issue shares the problems of theory and practice of ore concentration, production and processing of non-ferrous metals and economics and management of production.
The issue shares the review of the world market of non-ferrous metals for 2013.
The section «Economics and Management of Production» includes the article by B. A. Kotlyar, which considers the problems of increasing of social-economic efficiency of enterprises' activity in the conditions of decreasing of production profitability, taking into account the regulations, defined by collective agreement conditions.
Article by M. V. Belousov, S. A. Sirotkin and D. F. Rakipov considers the technical and economic peculiarities of magnesium manufacturing in Russia.
Article by V. A. Chanturiya and V. A. Ignatkina, published in the «Beneficiation» section, gives a brief review of reports of International meeting «Plaksin readings-2013». This meeting was devoted to discussion of innovation technologies and processes of concentration of natural and anthropogenic raw materials.
Article by A. S. Medvedev, P. V. Aleksandrov and V. A. Imideev, published in the «Heavy Non-Ferrous Metals» section, shows the prospectivity of application of low-temperature roasting of sulphide nickel raw materials with chlorides of alkaline metals.
Article by G. A. Bitkov, A. Yu. Lapin and Ya. M. Shneerson shows the results of development of technology of two-stage low-temperature auoclave oxidation of refractory gold-containing sulphide raw materials.
The «Metal Processing» section includes three articles, which describe the results of the second International conference «Aluminium-21 / Welding and Soldering». This conference included discussions of last year successes and problems of obtaining of welded and soldered joints in constructions, made of aluminium alloys and light metals.
