Tsvetnye Metally
The 6-th issue of the journal «Tsvetnye Metally» (Non-ferrous metals) (June 2014) shares the questions of theory and practice of concentration, production and processing of non-ferrous metals, complex use of crude ore, economics and management of production, and automation of metallurgical processes.
The article «Amursk hydrometallurgical plant is a key element of processing unit of Far Eastern „Polymetal“ JSC», published in the section «NOBLE METALS AND THEIR ALLOYS», considers the history of creation (2012) and driving up to the project capacity (2013) of the first Russian autoclave processor of refractory gold-containing concentrates – Amursk hydrometallurgical plant (Amursk Mining and Metallurgical Combine). There are discussed the basic advantages of autoclave oxidation of pyrite and arsenopyrite concentrates, containing «invisible» gold in structure, in comparison with other existing methods of processing of the same materials. There are given the basic parameters of work of enterprise and its main production stages.
The article by D. V. Ermakov and N. V. Vorobev-Desyatovskiy considers the basic approaches to solving of problems, which appear in the time of exploitation of Russian and CIS gold-mining enterprises, using alkaline cyanide solutions in their practice. There was carried out the comparison of international and Russian requirements to decontamination of cyanide-containing wastes of gold-mining industry.
The article by E. E. Maltseva, A. A. Blokhin, M. A. Pleshkov, Yu. V. Murashkin and M. A. Mikhaylenko, published in the section «MAGNESIUM, TITANIUM, RARE METALS AND SEMICONDUCTORS» shows the research of possibility of rhenium extraction from molybdenium-containing solutions, obtained by autoclave decomposition of molybdenite concentrates by oxygen in the presence of nitric acid, with weakly basic anionites Purolite А170 and Purolite А172.
The article by members of All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials, published in the section «METAL PROCESSING», shows the research of influence of two-stage thermal processing temperatures on microstructure and mechanical properties of forging from VT 43 (ВТ43) alloy. Researches were carried out on plates, manufactured by original technology in conditions of «VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation» JSC. There is shown that application of reinforcing thermal treatment provides the obtaining of not more than 1200 MPa of ultimate strength.
