This issue includes the articles in the subject area of heavy, light and rare metals. This journal shares the problems of theory and practice of ore concentration, production and processing of non-ferrous metals, economics and management of production.
The issue includes the review of global non-ferrous metals' market for 2014.
The section «Economics and management of production» includes the article by B. A. Kotlyar.
On the basis of analysis of these enterprises of mining-metallurgical complex, this article shows the following factors:
- reasonability of definition of provisional rules of minimal wage in sectoral tariff agreement;
- necessity of keeping of operating tariffing of workers and works as the stimulus of growth of workers' qualification;
- substantiation of obligation of decreasing of number of low-qualified personnel.
The section «Heavy non-ferrous metals» includes the article by Yu. V. Vasilev, O. V. Zotikov, O. I. Platonov and L. Sh. Tsemekhman about the analysis of the current state and near-term outlook of development of industrial technology of sulfur obtaining from metallurgical sulfurous gases, containing sulfur dioxide.
The section «Light metals, carbon materials» shows the article by A. P. Lysenko and A. Yu. Nalivayko, where the formation mechanism of aluminium hydroxide sediment in experimental-industrial electrolyser is shown together with influence of various current-carrying reagents on process indicators.
