Tsvetnye Metally
The subject area of the 7-th issue of Tsvetnye Metally (Non-ferrous metals) (July 2015) shares the traditional sections of the journal: heavy non-ferrous and rare metals, composite coatings. This journal shares the questions of theory, practice of production and processing of non-ferrous metals, complex use of crude ore, economics and management of production.
The section “Economics and management of production” includes four articles. These articles are devoted to social partnership of the State, trade unions and employers, analysis of capital issues of companies, strategies of innovation development of refining plants, and optimization of BHP Billiton company assets.
The section “Heavy non-ferrous metals” includes the article about processing of zinc-containing dust of copper-smelting production with obtaining of zinc witewashs.
The article by Ya. Yu Ershova and co-authors compares the appropriateness of gallium and aluminium extraction for the purpose of selection of optimal parameters for their extraction from joint potash mother liquids of aluminous production.
The article, written by the authors from the Institute of Chemistry of Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, offers the formation method and detail description of electrochemical properties of self-healing coatings, obtained on the surface of magnesium alloys using the plasma electrolytic oxidation method and following filling of created layer by inhibitor.
The article by V. A. Zinoviev and co-authors tells about the carried out aggregative-laboratory and industrial testings of Hastelloy materials in the conditions of corrosion-erosion wear in the process of autoclave oxidation leaching of nickel-pyrrhotine concentrates of Nadezhda metallurgical plant. The carried out complex of researches has shown the high steadiness of this alloy, and allows to suppose, that this alloy is also stable during the processing of other types of ore raw materials in similar conditions. Results of this work can be useful during the choice of materials for various hydrometallurgical productions, and during the development of apparatuses for realization of these processes.
