The article «Possibilities of hydrometallurgical processing of oxidized cobalt-nickel ores of Belininskoe deposit» shows the atmospheric agitation sulfuric acid leaching process. In contrast to the common practice, the authors investigated the method with reasonable maximum possible consumption of H2SO4. Such approach is caused by large acid overproduction in Ural region.
The article «Modernization prospects for the bus arrangement of electrolyzer S-8BM (S-8B) (С-8БМ (С-8Б))» considers various methods of modernization of bus arrangement design for this type of electrolyzers. The current part transfer from the input to the output electrolyzer faces is offered and concluded in cathode wheel dismantling together with outlet anode riser from the input side of the bath and current loading redistribution on the wheels, placed on the output side.
The article «Ultrasound influence of dendritic structure of АК7 alloy during its preparation to thixocasting» shows the ultrasound treatment mode, making the highest influence on solid solution dendrite degeneracy during the cooling of the melt, reheated on liquidus to the solid-liquid state. There was carried out the assessment of influence of ultrasound treatment on heat effects in the waveguide-melt-crucible system.
