Tsvetnye Metally
The 6-th issue of the journal "Tsvetnye Metally” (Non-ferrous metals) (June 2016) shares the issues of theory and practice of ore dressing, production and processing of non-ferrous metals, complex use of crude ore, economics and management of production.
V. A. Bocharov, V. A. Ignatkina and A. A. Kayumov carried out the analysis of the results of investigation of flotation properties of the separated minerals, metal and mineral fine fraction size distribution in massif and ingrained pyrite ore samples, in the flotation products, obtained in laboratory and industrial conditions (“Benefication” item).
The article by Yu. P. Morozov, G. Zh. Abdykirova, E. A. Faley and S. B. Dyusenova tells about the investigations of regularities and industrial testings of flotation classification of ores and concentration tailings. There was researched the influence of pulp aeration on hydraulic classification indicators in flotation classifier. There are given the examples of industrial testings of these units on copper-zinc ore concentration plants. The industrial testings of flotation classifiers were carried out in the closed grinding cycle during the processing of hematite ore concentration tailings.
The article “Dependence of spectral transmittance of thallium halide crystals on growing atmosphere. Part 1” shows the conditions, allowing the thallium halide decomposition process minimizing on the final stage of obtaining of optical materials for infrared technics tools.
The article “Electrochemical processing of W – Re alloy wastes in alkaline electrolytes under the influence of alternating current” shows the schematic flowsheet of VR (ВР) alloy waste processing with extraction of rhenium (KReO4).
The article “Modern technology of aluminum alloy coils annealing” (“Metal Processing” item) shows the issues of advanced processing of aluminium alloys.
