The article «Extraction of rare-earth metals from phosphogypsum and extraction phosphorous acid, obtained during khibiny apatite concentrate processing» (the item «Rare metals and semiconductors») gives the results of investigations of rare-earth metal extraction from anthropogenic wastes and middlings of sulfuric acid processing of Khibiny apatite concentrate (phosphogypsum and extraction phosphoric acid of dihydrate process: both productive and used for apatite concentrate decomposition).
The article «Structure and properties of prospective Be – Si-based casting alloy for thermal-dimensional-stable details» (the item «Materials science») considers the requirements to materials for space-based optoelectronic devices (OED). There are shown the prospects of using beryllium-silicium alloys to develop thermal dimensional stable casting alloy.
