Tsvetnye Metally
The 10-th issue of the journal «Tsvetnye Metally» (Non-ferrous metals) (October 2016) shares the issues of theory and practice of ore dressing, production and processing of non-ferrous metals, complex use of crude ore, economics and management of production.
A large part of articles is devoted to the scientific and practical conference RIVS-2016, held in November. Developments for mining and metallurgical branch are shared.
This issue also includes the article about the history of Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant, devoted to its 100-th anniversary.
The article “Methods of creation of permanent zirconium alloy joints in reactor art” shows the analysis of evolution of zirconium alloy detail joint technology. Most attention is paid to the methods, used during the manufacturing of fuel elements and stringers.
The article “Repair of casting defects and corrosion damages of aluminium bronze products using argon-arc welding with activating flux” tells that application of activating flux during welding obtains the indicators of mechanical properties of compounds on the level of the basic metal.
