Tsvetnye Metally

The11-thissueofthejournal«Tsvetnye Metally» (Non-ferrous metals) (November 2016) is devoted to its 90-th anniversary.

Leading Russian scientists and specialists in the area of metallurgy and benefication wrote the articles where they discuss the urgent problems and development prospects of Russian metallurgical industry.

The item «Benefication» detaily considers both the mineral raw material processing technologies (especially its complex use), and the issues of units and reagents. Each issue is discussed in article.

The item «Heavy non-ferrous metals» considers the current situation on Russian enterprises, processing oxidized nickel ores. Analysis of development of technologies of processing of these ores in Russia and abroad is given.

The issue «Rare metals and semiconductors» includes the article showing the trends of development of the global market of semiconductors in the last decades. The problems, facing the modern Russian semiconductor industry, are defined.

The item «Materials science» shows the review of investigations of vanadium alloys as structural materials for nuclear and thermal-nuclear future energetics. The advantages of these alloys before other materials are shown, and the ways of problem solving in vanadium alloys usage as reactor construction materials are defined.

You may find below more details about the issue or book printed or electronic version of the journal.
