Tsvetnye Metally
The third issue of the journal «Tsvetnye Metally» (Non-ferrous metals) includes a range of articles, written by the Russian Copper Company specialists. They tell about a new type of raw materials, involved in processing on working concentration plants with industrial indicators maintenance. In particular, ore concentration in Vesennee and Chebachie deposits (the Urals) is considered.
The item «Benefication» tells about mineral flotation of copper and zinc by sulfhydryl collectors.
The item «Noble metals and their alloys» shows the processes of hydrometallurgical oxidation of refractory gold-bearing concentrates and electrochlorination of secondary noble metal raw materials.
The item «Rare metals, semiconductors» tells about the liquid extraction of scandium from hydrolyzed sulfuric acid.
Besides, «Metal processing» item pays an attention on the hydrodynamic effect of solid lubricants during thin-strip rolling.
