Gornyi Zhurnal
This issue includes a set of articles about the Gold Mining Company UGC and its industry experience. Results of exploration work at mined deposits (taking into account the company’s resource-production strategy) are described together with the priority ways of reserve development and high mining and processing technologies for gold-bearing ores (taking into account the ecological safety and rational use of natural resources). The history of mastering of gold-bearing deposits in the South Urals is told from the XVIII century to the present days.
Other articles of this issue tell about the concept of complex geodynamic monitoring during underground mining and its first realization at the JSC “Apatit” mines. The methods of definition of geodynamic risks of hazardous areas are considered, and classification of these risks is offered. The mining and technical system is shown, allowing to carry out the accompanying mining of mineral raw materials from the preroofed part of flat coal seam and roof rocks. There are defined the basic ways of complex and rational mining and processing of mineral raw materials with extraction of non-ferrous and rare metals.
