This issue begins with the review article, dedicated to application of vibratory technologies, in particular, disintegration, in processing of mineral and man-induced raw materials (the authors: L. А. Vaisberg, А. N. Safronov) – the line of research, traditionally developed at the REC «Mekhanobr-Tekhnika».
Note should be made of the paper byR. Grau,et al., in the section “Processing Technology”, analyzing the results of the Udokan deposit mixed copper ores processing technology development studies, performed by the specialists of Outotec and “Mekhanobr Engineering”.
As is customary, ample attention is given to man-induced raw materials processing: gold recovery plants’ aged dump tailings gravity concentration methods (the paper byN. K. Algebraistova,et al.), copper smeltery final dump slag processing technologies (the paper by S. V. Mamonov,et al.); reagent regimes in flotation of unburned carbon from coal-fired power plants fly ash (the paper by Yu. V. Ryabov,et al.).
The paper by M. S. Melnichuk, et al., is of interest, presenting the results of the Nizhny Tagil dunite massif chromite ore dressability studies and describing the development of the integrated machine-processing flow sheet, providing for production of high-grade platinum-containing concentrate and chromite concentrate, complying with the requirements of the chemical production.
