Obogashchenie Rud
The issue opens with a publication dedicated to the optimization of the technology for the beneficiation of refractory gold-bearing ore at the Sekisovskoye deposit (Kazakhstan) through the introduction of combined processing processes. This topic continues with an article about research on the creation of a technology for the beneficiation of copper-porphyry ores from the Tominsky deposit (Russia), on the basis of which, according to the project of JSC «Mechanobr Engineering», the beneficiation plant of JSC «Tominsky GOK» was built and put into pilot operation in 2020.
The next section of the issue («Beneficiation processes») presents works that highlight the processes of percolation leaching, intensify in-situ leaching of uranium using hydrogen peroxide.
Leaching of limestone-kaolin cakes with soda solutions under various modes of the process is described in detail in the article of the section on the complex raw material utilizstion.
Publication in section «Designing works», which does not appear so often in the journal, is interesting and timely. It presents a comparative analysis of BIM and 3D modeling, software used for these purposes, describes the prospects for such modeling in the design of beneficiation plants.
Modern technologies impose special requirements on the materials used in them. So, metal powders for 3D printing must have not only a certain chemical and granulometric composition, but their particles must be spherical. This can be achieved both by plasma atomization and by an alternative method of two-stage grinding of steel shavings. An article on the secondary raw material processing is devoted to research in this direction.
And again, a very relevant topic for the mining and processing industry is the determination of the degree of negative impact of beneficiation waste accumulation facilities on natural waters, the value of these wastes as technogenic raw materials. This problem is described in sufficient detail in the last publication of the issue using the example of processing copper ores at the Gaysky Mining and Processing Plant.
