Tsvetnye Metally
In the "Tsvetnye Metally" journal No. 4 - 2022, articles from the sections "Heavy non-ferrous metals", "Rare metals, semiconductors", "Composite materials, multifunctional coatings", "Nanostructured metals and materials", "Metalworking", "Automation ".
The issue is headed with a thematic selection dedicated to the Kola MMC: these are articles on the formation of the research base for the enrichment production of JSC Kola MMC, on the modernization of the magnetic separation section in the new technology for processing nickel concentrate, on thermodynamic modeling of the oxidative roasting of nickel concentrate from the matte separation in fluidized layer furnaces.
In the “Composite materials, multifunctional coatings” section, an article is presented, in which, based on the methodological features of the synthesis of powder particles of a spherical shape to obtain spherical granules of the required grain size for 3D technologies, an electroerosive dispersion technology is proposed, featured by low energy costs and environmental friendliness of the process.
The issue contains an article on the use of a device and the corresponding technology for applying nanoscale films to the inner surface of cylindrical samples, which was prepared by a team of authors from St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI" and the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" - Central Research Institute of Structural Materials "Prometheus" named after. I. V. Gorynin.
We continue the tradition of publishing materials on the history of journals, the fate of people who have connected their lives with mining and metallurgy in our country. In this issue, an article by I. M. Petrov "Forgotten names of authors: Russian mining engineers A. S. Levitsky and V. A. Petrov" is presented to readers.
