Obogashchenie Rud
The issue opens with a joint article by Vietnamese and Russian authors, which presents the development of a technological scheme for the beneficiation of quartz-feldspar ore from the Quang Nam deposit (Vietnam). The process developed is virtually waste-free, which is confirmed by the results of integrated tests.
Specialists in the field of potash ore processing devoted their publication to the use of ethoxylated surfactants as a collector for flotation of silicate-carbonate water-insoluble impurities. It presents the results of the application of a new collector of sludge KE-40 in the flotation beneficiation of silvinite ores of the Verkhnekamskoye deposit.
The article by Uzbek authors presents the exploration of new deposits of silicate raw materials that meet the needs of production and meet existing standards. The material presents the characteristics of feldspar of the Sultan-Uvaiskoe deposit, the technological scheme of its processing.
The specialists involved in water treatment issues will undoubtedly be interested in the publication on the use of crushing screenings from the dumps of quarries in the Prionezhsky District of Karelia as non-traditional filter materials. Such their application contributes to increasing the complexity of the development of deposits, solving economic and environmental problems.
In the material of the section «Environment protection technology» in order to optimize the emission of carbon dioxide into the environment, the features of the use of pulverized coal fuel in chemical beneficiation are considered.
Specialists of the St. Petersburg Mining University in the final article of the issue presented a method of coal-thermal reduction of iron from a charge containing red sludge. Based on the results of the experiments, they made preliminary conclusions about the possibility and expediency of using red sludge as part of a slurry-peat charge as a raw material for the production of cast iron and steel.
