The articles, published in the 11-th issue of "Tsvetnye Metally" (Non-ferrous metals) journal (November, 2012) share the subject area of heavy and light non-ferrous metals, noble metals and alloys, and rare metals. This issue shares the questions of theory and practice of ore concentration, production and processing of non-ferrous metals, complex usage of crude ores, and economics and management of production.
One of the articles, published in the «Beneficiation» section, tells about the finished complex of experimental researchings on the gold and silver extraction from non-traditional source: the autoclave leaching cakes of complex uranium ores. The combination of flotation and hydrometallurgical processes makes it possible to create rather efficient technology of their processing. This was confirmed by the data of semi-industrial testings on large-capacity sample.
The article by Altushkin I. A., Levin V. V., Korol Yu. A., Sitnikova T. I. considers, that the usage of innovations in the technology, organization and project financing makes it possible to involve the earlier developed or left deposits into the production, as well as to utilize the anthropogenic formations of Ural mining enterprises. The redevelopment project of one of the oldest Russian mines – Gumeshevskoe copper clay deposit – is presented as one of the ways of the problem solving. The efficient realization possibility of a project of underground leaching of copper, is shown with the following manufacturing of market products. The venture financing is presented as an example of the source of capital investment.
Nowadays, the cutting instrument, made of ultra hard polycrystall materials, on the basis of the compact boron nitride, is widely used for the processing of hardened steels and cast irons. The boron nitride has several crystallographic modifications. The mechanical properties of various shapes of boron nitride are considerably different. The article by Ermolaev A. A., Nozhkina A. V., Kryukova L. M., Sorokin M. N., Laptev A. I. shares the question about the held research of the phase composition of composite materials, on the basis of boron nitride with Elbor-R and Hexanite-R grades. As apposed to the Elbor-R, the density of Hexanite-R can not characterize the work capacity. It is necessary to hold the additional definition of the phase composition of Hexanite-R samples and the definition of the content of BNг phase. The quantity of BNг phase characterizes the work capacity of the cutters, made of the Hexanite-R composite.
The article by Drozdov S. V., Proskuryakova I. A., Tychenko A. I., Belousova N. V. consideres the possibility of the replacement of Leachaid oxidant, used in the process of intensive gaseous oxygen cyanidation of gold-containing concentrates on the Acacia unit. On the basis of the results of laboratory researches, it was stated that such replacement makes it possible to increase the gold extraction from the concentrate with 75-87% to 95-98%, and to decrease the currency of intensive cyanidation more than twice. Usage of compressed oxygen was implemented on one of the factories of the «Polyus» company.
