Gornyi Zhurnal
The 12-th issue of Gornyi Zhurnal (Mining Journal) (December, 2012) is devoted to the results of realization of the project «Creation of complex and ecologically safe innovation technology of extraction and processing of diamond-bearing ores in the conditions of Far North». This project is being implemented by «ALROSA» JSC, in collaboration with North-Eastern Federal University named after M. K. Ammosov, within the Resolution of the Government of Russian Federation (April 9, 2010, No. 218) «About the measures of the state support of the development of cooperation of Russian universities and organizations, which realize the complex creation projects of high technological industry». The main task of the project consisted of the increasing of profitability of diamonds extraction due to the creation of complex innovation technology of extraction and processing of diamond-bearing ores with minimal ecological damage. Due to the joint investments into the science intensive industry from the country and «ALROSA» JSC, the development of innovation technology, within the consolidation of university science with industrial enterprise, became the example of successful realization of private and state partnership. The project implementation makes it possible to form new cooperation mechanisms of university and enterprise, and to encourage the usage of the potential of university by the structural subdivisions of «ALROSA» JSC. The cumulated experience from the collaboration of various specialists will undoubtedly be in demand, and will be carrying out the development in the formed system «university-science-industry».
