This article shows a history of geological exploration of the gold ore field in Central Tajikistan, peculiarities of its structure and distribution appropriateness of mineralization. There are also described the composition of gold-bearing beresite-listvenites; staging of ore accumulation and mineralization; typomorphism of free gold; and forecast resources of ore bodies, ore occurrences and ore field in general. Carrying out of more detail geological exploration works is recommended for the purpose of discovering of new gold ore bodies for incremental growth of resources and their transfer to reserves of industrial categories. There is substantiated the reasonability of transfer of ore field to the deposit category.
