Abstract

This article is devoted to the problem of usage of renewable energy sources in total and usage of these energy sources in Russian mining industry, in particular. There are shown the theory developments, researches, measurings, calculations, experiments and proposals for formation and usage of non-traditional renewable energy sources. The foregoing operations were carried out on the basis of «Kombinat KMAruda» JSC. Non-traditional renewable energy sources are the potential energy of hydraulic stowing mixture (on the basis of quartzites concentration wastes (tailings)), which was supplied from the surface to the mine by vertical pipe lines with the following transportation to the developed cells. There is accented the high efficiency of utilization of current concentration wastes for filling of anthropogenic underground hollow spaces with simultaneous usage of energetic potential of pulp flow for generating of electric power.
