Abstract

The article describes the newly-developed complex of mathematical models for definition of load forces applied to rolling stand guide rollers, their thermal condition and wear. The proposed methodology for calculation of loads which emerge in the input guides during the fl t bar inclination in the interval between the rollers and the rolling rolls, allows to define quite accurately the forces acting on the working parts of the rolling stand roller guides and has been widely used for practical calculations. The mathematical model of heat exchange in the rolling stand guide rollers and the fl at bar being rolled allows to calculate the temperature fields of the rolling stand guide rollers depending on the design parameters such as roller diameter and length and process factors like cooling water. The model was applied for research aimed at extending the service life of the rolling stand guide rollers.
