Abstract

Successful carrying out of experimental researches of use of hydrodynamic influence on gas-dynamic hazard beds of Central region of Donets Coal Basin allowed to make a definition and substantiation of optimal parameters of method, criteria of efficiency and methods of control of mining operations' safety. Results of carrying out of experimental works for prevention of coal and gas outbursts were analyzed during the development workings. This analysis has shown that coefficient of outburst hazard of coal bed by  1.5-2 times is decreased with the ratio of duration of layer destruction of coal and methane blocking time, equal to 0.67. According to this, there is made a conclusion that this decreasing depends directly from amount of hydrodynamic influence cycles. Process of hydrodynamic influence was estimated by outburst hazard forecasting, according to amplitude-frequency characteristics of acoustic signal, which is caused in rock massif by technological influence of winning and sinking machines and mechanisms on coal bed. Efficiency of application of this method is characterized both by decreasing of outburst hazard coefficient to the value of Kv < 3, and by standard coal extraction indicator.
