| Abstract | Nuclear branch is one of few Russian high-technological branches of industry, developing and existing in post-perestroyka period. One of outstanding leaders of Russian nuclear industry was Avraami Pavlovich Zavenyagin, who was the Minister of Medium Machine-Building of USSR in his last years. This article is a brief review of activity of A. P. Zavenyagin, who understood the great dependence of «nuclear metals» and made a great contribution to transform them from ordinary elements in Periodic Table into the large-capacity industrial products. |
