Abstract | This article continues the researches on improvement of mechanization of development of special excavations in Saint Petersburg Metrostroy mines. Underground construction in Saint Petersburg is accompanied by construction of service roadways. They are necessary to connect the constructed underground stations with vertical well bore (shaft). In one direction, the vertical well bore is used for the muck transportation. In the other direction, it is used for delivery of everything for the station construction (tubbings, slab of cement, tools, etc.). Not less than 1 km of service roadways (pit-bottom workings, passes, blind workings for equipment keeping) are built for provision of construction of 1 km of underground tunnels. Mines of Saint Petersburg Metrostroy are located at the depth of 60-70 m. The muck is quite different in composition (dry mud, clay-with-race, clay with water in upper layer, clay with inclusion of granite boulders). It is impossible to build the service roadways, using shielding and drilling complexes. They are usually build by hand, using jackhammers and wooden timbering. For the purpose of elimination of this dangerous and hard labour, it is necessary to develop and design light-weight tunneling modules with their introduction into production. Operating tips of these modules provide cutting tools (for brittle clay), percussion tools (for solid bed) and mechanical devices for holding face (chyck plate with sliding windows). This construction is protected by 4 patents. Experimental KPH model (tunneling system with floodboard), designed for the construction management "Lenmetrogiprotrans" mechanization, can be used as experimental model for functional test of the proposed technical solutions. The article deals with configuration options of operating tips of the percussion type for mining faces of complicated structure. The particular attention is paid to striking pins, working in the "counter-shearing" operating mode, accomplished by operating tip in the twinned strikers form. There are also presented the results of experimental tests for determination of values of the pick deepening into the clay massif for different values of impact energy. It must be noted that the proposed solutions replace manual labor, and reduce sinking cycle time. Graphics of dependence of the performance from rock strength can help to carry out the accurate determination of the type of used handling equipment. Also, this article shows the advantages of load haul dump application for transportation of broken muck in Saint Petersburg Metrostroy mines. |
