Necessity of application of larger amount of various equipment during mining operations is substantiated by complex mining-technological conditions of laying of valuable mineral at deposits of Sokolovsko-Sarbaiskoe Mining and Concentration Production Association and increased needs of iron ore raw materials market. Nowadays, 157 excavators and 31 drill machines work at the Association. The Office board of the Association defined and realized the program on writing-off of obsolete and low-productive equipment. At the same time, the complete replacement of obsolete equipment requires large capital costs and time. For the purpose of maintenance of park of excavators and drilling rigs in technically perfect state, the Association has the system of technical service and maintenance. The Association developed and approved the standards of periodicity and longevity of maintenance of mining equipment, which take into account its technical state and working conditions. Up to 90% of initial resource of machine is reduced as a result of carrying out of capital maintenance. During the carrying out of current maintenance, a great attention is paid to mechanization of manual labor.
