Реферат | The basics of the methods for predication of methane-emission rate from broken-down coal in development and production sections of coal mines are substantiated. Relations of gas drainage rate from broken-down coal to major physical-chemical properties and operational parameters are obtained. The results of computational experiments and calculation formulas for engineering practice of methane-emission rate predication in design of development and production faces ventilation systems are presented. It is shown, that methane-emission from brokendown coal both in development and production sections, from the point of view of the non-equilibrium thermodynamics fundamental basics, is a relaxational process, caused by external actions upon coal layer, leading to drastic increase of gas-discharging surface area. The thermodynamic system «coal—gas» accomplishes a transition to a new and more stable state. The rate of energy and mass exchange in broken-down coal is definitely related to previous stages of «coal—gas» system evolution from the original state, characterized by the natural gas-content of coal, to intermediate state, characterized by gas-bearing capacity of coal layer face area. Subsequently, gas-emission rate depends on residual gas-content of virgin coal, physical-chemical properties of coal and operational parameters of tunneling or coal-face works. |
