Реферат | The article describes the procedure of finite-element numerical modeling of stress–strain state in sidewall rock mass under hybrid open/underground mining in terms of underground extraction of sidewall ore reserves in the Koashvin open pit mine at the Vostochny mine of Apatit JSC. The procedure uses various rank numerical models: global model of rock mass and local model of an extraction block. The global model calculation results are assumed as the boundary conditions for the local model. Mechanisms of stress distribution in development openings driven in open pit walls are revealed; factors to be accounted for in choosing procedure for stability of the openings are defined as the increase in compressive stress in the roof rocks in the openings driven in perpendicular to the open pit wall and major tectonic stress as well as the distribution asymmetry of shearing stress along the perimeter of the openings driven in parallel to the open pit wall and major tectonic stress. The proposed procedure allows forecasting stress–strain state of rocks during extraction of ore from the open pit walls and the wellfounded selection of the support type and parameters for the development openings in extraction blocks in the zone of influence of the open pit mine, in conformity with the rock mass quality rating. |
