Abstract | The effect of surface activity at liquid-gas interface and hydrophobization ability of dialkyldithiophosphates class reagents-collectors upon their flotation activity was qualitatively established. It is shown, that maximum recovery of sulfides is achieved with high hydrophobization ability and surface activity of reagents, and selectivity – with low hydrophobization ability and high or low surface activity, depending on the type of mineral selection. A highest recovery of metals was achieved in gold-bearing silver ore flotation with IMA-I207 reagent, possessing a highest surface activity. In separation of copper minerals from arsenopyrite, a highest selectivity was achieved with application of IMA-226 reagent, possessing a highest surface activity and lowest hydrophobization ability. In separation of copper-zinc ores, most selective is BTF-1522 reagent, characterized by the lowest hydrophobization ability and surface activity. BTF-1552 reagent and its analogue BTF-1532, introduced in coppernickel ores flotation, possess similar properties. |
