Реферат | The article presents the history of construction and operation of Oktyabrsky Mine that breaks down the high grade, cupriferous and impregnated copper–nickel ore in the west of the Oktyabrsky deposit. The registered economic reserves of Oktyabrsky Mine include high-grade, cupriferous and impregnated copper–nickel ore. Within the mine field, three commercial types of copper–nickel ore are detected at a depth from 450 to 1050 m: high-grade (solid), impregnated and cupriferous. The access to the solid high-grade ore body is gained through 11 vertical shafts. Oktyabrsky minefield adjoins Taimyrsky minefield. The cross connections of the two mines serve for non-productive operations (moving-in of equipment, emergency exit). Special-purpose paddle doors are installed in the cross connections, and, thus, the ventilation networks of the mines are entirely independent. Drivage and stoping started as early as the commencement of the mine construction began, using self-propelled mining and service machinery with diesel drives. Underground vehicle parks and repair and fuel stations are constructed. Drivage, slicing or cutting with solidifying backfilling employ heavyduty machines. All in all, Oktyabrsky Mine operates 129 self-propelled diesel machines. The issues related with marketable ore production and the Oktyabrsky Mine expansion are handled in the framework of the general development strategy of Norilsk Nickel. |
