Abstract

European and German iron and steel industry are meeting the serious challenges. European Commission has marked the plan for steel development including priority industrial and political directions for improvement of competitive positions of the European steel sector. The concept of IG Metall is focusing on personal interests of employees, on arising and supporting of their motivation, because just people create material valuables. The specialists of IG Metall suggest that it is very important to activate those potentials that were not used before. It is shown that good operating results can be reached only due to good labour conditions and aimed qualification. Special plan consists om four points: providing good education, organization, cooperation and operating conditions.
