Abstract |
Underground mining consumes much energy, and in order to enhance energy efficiency it is required that mining supervisor gets immediate and reliable data on energy consumption and operation of electrical equipment. The article presents effective achievements in improvement and adaptation of the automated information and measuring system for technical accounting of electric energy (AIMSTAEE), based on updating high-voltage switchboard KRUV-6 added with a recorder of electric energy parameters, to the conditions of underground mines. At the present time, underground mines widely use old-pattern high-voltage switchboards KRUV-6. Deep remodeling of the old-pattern switchboards is feasible, which takes much less money than purchasing of new equipment. In terms of underground mining at a sheet deposit, the authors illustrate application of AIMSTAEE with redesigned KRUV-6 and mine measuring transformer unit (MMTU) with AD converter. The use of MMTU will allow unification of the equipment through introduction of commutation switch capable to operate voltages in a range from 127 V to 6 kV. It is emphasized that implementation of the proposals will enhance reliability of data on electrical equipment operation, allow prompt response to variations in operating modes and, finally, will enable sound and reasoned planning and minimization of electric energy consumption in underground mines. |
