Реферат | At present time, gold placer deposits with fine-dispersed and fine-grained gold are widely brought into development, but conventional equipment, as hydraulic elevator sluice boxes, barrel sluice boxes practically do not recover fine gold particles, therefore the interest to jigging technology will increase in the near future. Special features of gold placer deposit sands mineral composition, as well as «Alaska-35» washing plant design parameters and process-dependent variables that significantly affect gold recovery level, are analyzed. Operating regimes of jigging machines are studied in detail. It was established that the main size fraction of sands causing sand-clay refuse in sluice boxes and jigging machine’s bed is –0.5+0.1 mm that includes both ferromagnetic and weakly magnetic minerals. Bed layer height increase and, as a consequence, its weighting by fine size fraction, result in metal losses increase: with bed layer height increasing from 15 to 40 mm, losses in jigging machine tailings increased from 15.2 to 19.6 %. Effect of jigging machine’s bed material was exposed: when jig shot (6.45 g/cm3) was used, metal recovery was 75.74 %, with magnetite (5.17 g/cm3) – 62.92 %, almost 13 % lower (all other conditions being equal). Jigging machine’s optimal operating parameters were established: solid-to-liquid ratio from 1 : 2 to 1 : 4, with reciprocating speed of piston being 350 and 750 min–1, piston travel 7 mm, bed material — jig shot; bed layer height — 20 mm with piston reciprocating speed of 350 min–1 and underscreen water flow rate of 15–18 m3/h, bed layer height — 20–30 mm with piston reciprocating speed of 750 min–1 and underscreen water flow rate of 21–24 m3/h. Sluice washing plant optimal design parameters and process-dependent variables were determined in operation: sluice boxes inclination angle — 11°, sluice riffle height — 45 mm, sluice riffle inclination angle — 70°, sluice width — 750 mm. Optimal operational regimes of sluice boxes and jigging machines permitted to decrease metal losses in tailings to 11 %. |
