Реферат | The article describes the approaches developed by the Uralgiproruda Institute to get access to deep levels in modern underground mines using vertical shafts equipped by hoist units using examples of a skip-and-cage shaft and a skip shaft currently under construction in Cheremukhovskaya-Glubokaya mine of Sevuralboksitruda and in Udachny mine of ALROSA, respectively. The scope of the description embraces history of design, construction and equipment of the shafts, their characteristics and features of derricks, as well as construction and equipment of the latter. Programs and software packages used in planning and design of unstandardized equipment are mentioned. The author gives examples of the Institute projects on optimizing processes (lowering/lifting of people, ore and rock drawing by one hoist in Cheremukhovskaya-Glubokaya mine) and improving energy efficiency of a set of hoists (use of heat loss of electrics of hoisting machines to heat derrick in winter time). Toward higher energy efficiency of the set of hoists, the both projects addressed the same solution on using heat loss of process equipment (electric drives of hoisting machines and variable speed drives) for warming of the enclosed area of the derrick in cold season. With this end in view, it was provided that the system of ventilation of the process equipment was connected with the system of ventilation of the derrick, and a system of automation and control of this coupling depending on temperature outside and inside the derrick was developed. Such solution favored enhanced efficiency of the whole set and allowed reduction in heating cost, which is an issue of concern given the climate of the mine location. |
