Abstract |
The upgrade strategy of deep-level mineral mining technology is shown. The main target of the mining industry development is disclosure of mineral resource potential based on innovative geotechnologies of mining and mining process automation. The main directions of modernization of geotechnologies in complicated conditions of transition to greater depths are associated with the new-generation mining systems providing production efficiency, energy saving, integrated management of mineral reserves, and industrial and environmental safety of work. Here, the main part belongs to the mining systems with backfilling as the backbone method of mining at great depths. Backfilling is also one of the key ways of resource-saving. The trends in the field of modernization of such basic mining processes as drilling, transportation and mine support are connected with full automation of mining, which ensures mine safety and leads to a substantial increase in productivity and intensity of development of the reserves. The strategy of deep-level mining is based on creation and widespread use of integrated systems of data acquisition, monitoring of technological processes and equipment, computerized control of modular systems, rock mass stress–strain state control, mine air control as well as on automation and robotization of equipment integrated with the information systems. This study has been carried out in accordance with the Fundamental Research Program for the National Academies of Sciences for 2013–2020 (research area 74 “Integrated Subsoil Development and Preservation, Innovative Techniques of Mineral Mining and High-Level Processing), Program No. 27 of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences “Fundamentals for Innovative Technologies of Appraisal, Mining and High-Level Processing of Strategic Mineral Reserves towards Economical Modernization of Russia”, and ONZ-3 Program “Challenges and Prospects of Use of Integrated Subsoil Development Potential Based on Resource-Reproducing Technologies.” |
